IT professional services

A practical route from infrastructure scope to verified, accepted delivery, whether you need a defined project, planned engineering capacity, one-off help or ongoing support.

How delivery works: Myrmekes provides the customer-facing commercial, advisory and coordination layer. Cantel Computer Services delivers support and professional services in the UK. Outside the UK, delivery is provided through Cantel-approved partners, with the delivery party and coverage confirmed for each engagement.

The Myrmekes Delivery Path

Five clear stages keep the required outcome, delivery responsibilities and acceptance checks visible from the first conversation to handover.

  1. Stage 1

    Define

Capture the estate, locations, dependencies, constraints, desired outcome and the criteria that will show the work is complete.

Output: a working scope, intended outcome and acceptance criteria.

  2. Stage 2

    Match

Match the required technologies, sites and tasks to the appropriate engineering resource and delivery route.

Output: a proposed resource and delivery route for the defined work.

  3. Stage 3

    Mobilise

Agree the schedule, access, change windows, parts assumptions, responsibilities and escalation route before work begins.

Output: an agreed delivery plan, schedule and set of responsibilities.

  4. Stage 4

    Deliver

Carry out the agreed engineering work against the scope, site requirements and delivery plan.

Output: the engineering activities completed against the agreed scope.

  5. Stage 5

    Verify

Complete the agreed checks, record the delivery outcome and review the acceptance criteria with you.

Output: agreed completion evidence, a recorded outcome and an acceptance review.

Infrastructure lifecycle coverage

The delivery path can be applied to a single task or a coordinated programme across the infrastructure lifecycle.

Requirements and readiness

Requirements capture, dependencies, site readiness, an agreed implementation approach and acceptance planning. Specialist design is included only where expressly scoped.

Deployment

Installation, configuration, cabling and commissioning for agreed infrastructure and end-user estates.

Verification and acceptance

Agreed commissioning and completion checks after delivery, with the result reviewed against the acceptance criteria defined during scoping.

Upgrades and refresh

Planned component upgrades, capacity changes and estate refresh work designed to minimise disruption.

Relocation

Planned decommissioning, transport, re-racking and recommissioning between rooms or sites.

Decommissioning and data erasure

Retirement work scoped around the equipment, required erasure method and evidence, with each requirement agreed before delivery.

Choose the engagement model that fits the work

Project

For a defined engineering outcome with an agreed scope, delivery plan and acceptance criteria. Examples include a rollout, storage deployment or datacentre relocation.

Scheduled

For engineering capacity arranged on agreed dates or to a repeatable plan, such as onsite support days, IMACD activity or a phased refresh.

Ad Hoc

For a one-off or unplanned requirement that can be scoped when it arises, such as smart-hands activity or a break/fix visit.

Support Contract

For an agreed estate and response requirement over a contracted term. Supported equipment, service levels, inclusions and exclusions are set out in the quotation and Statement of Work.

What helps us scope accurately

  • Your asset list or approximate device count and models
  • The sites and countries in scope
  • Current support cover and relevant renewal or end-of-service-life dates
  • The technical and business outcome you need
  • Required response times, access constraints and change windows
  • Any testing, acceptance, documentation or data-erasure evidence your process requires

A rough summary is enough for the first conversation. Please do not send passwords, unnecessary personal data or sensitive configuration details.
