Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 July 2026. This policy remains subject to legal review.

Who we are

Myrmekes Ltd ("Myrmekes", "we", "us") is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Registered in England & Wales, Company No. 15879916, registered office 136a Town Street, Pinxton, Nottinghamshire NG16 6JP. You can contact us about anything in this policy at info@myrmekes.co.uk.

What we collect

When you contact us by email or through our enquiry form, we receive your name, email address, and whatever you include in your message — typically your company, telephone number, details of your IT estate, the support you need, and your preferred time for a call. The form sends the information to our Myrmekes mailbox; it does not add it to a marketing database.

The website uses a short-lived, privacy-preserving rate-limit record derived from the submitting network address to reduce automated abuse. It does not use this record to identify visitors or for marketing.

How we use it

We use your details to respond to your enquiry, scope the work you've asked about, and deliver services you engage us for. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest: you contacted us about IT support, and responding is what you'd expect us to do. We won't add you to marketing lists without asking first.

Who we share it with

Fasthosts hosts the website and processes form submissions and email on our behalf. Where fulfilling your enquiry requires it, we may also share relevant details with our delivery partners — Cantel, whose engineers deliver Myrmekes support, and Cloud CoCo. We never sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any engagement that follows, then reviewed and deleted when no longer required.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for access to the personal data we hold about you, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, or to object to processing. Email info@myrmekes.co.uk and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

This website sets no analytics, advertising, or contact-form cookies. If that changes, we'll update this policy and ask for consent where the law requires it.

Changes to this policy

We'll post any changes on this page with an updated date.
